Summer Recap – NRG

In June, Elizabeth Chatpar, 3^rd year PhD candidate, attended the International Society for Environmental Epidemiology (ISEE)’s North American Chapter Regional Conference. Elizabeth presented preliminary findings from her dissertation in a poster titled Community exposure to industrial animal agriculture: a systematic evidence map. 

In July, Charles Bakin, 3^rd year PhD candidate, attended the International Association for Food Protection (IAFP)’s annual meeting in New Orleans, Louisiana. Charles received a Student Travel Scholarship, supporting his attendance. Congratulations Charles! 

In August, Keeve Nachman was named Chair of the Environmental Health & Engineering Department at Johns Hopkins, following an international search. Read more here and here.
